We have worked with Cherry Luxury Homes since 2017. The project took place during the summer of Hurricane Matthew. Matthew was originally headed directly towards us but veered to the west crossing the Keys and up the west coast. Never-the-less, we still suffered torrential rains. While our house was "hurricane proof," we no longer had a roof, only a tarp. Within 24 hours, Jim's crew built a structure similar to a garage and saved the house from serious damage.

In 2023, we were interested in adding an outdoor bathroom and shower. Thinking that he was too busy with new construction and major remodeling, I assumed that Jim would be too busy for such a small project. I called Jim to see if he could recommend someone willing to take it on. Jim told me that if we were willing to be patient, he would use the normal downtime between stages of a major project to push ours forward.

The result was another tremendous success. It's made our backyard much more enjoyable. We generally hesitate to give recommendations as they don't always work out, but we are happy to recommend Cherry Luxury Homes to anybody and everybody.

Our project was quite ambitious, to change a very traditional Mediterranean home into a contemporary work of art! The project from first meeting to move-in date was 14 months, and the entire project execution considerably exceeded our expectations. Cherry Luxury Homes has the construction process down to a science, with the right personnel involved along the way, and the back-office support to deliver precise outcomes managed extremely well. Even with the dramatic changes involved across the every aspect of design and materials, Cherry Luxury Homes knew exactly how to make it happen. However, without a doubt, the most critical part of the experience was the role Jim Cherry played as well as Chris Beck.

We experienced this reality many times during the design and construction of our house. Jim would make site visits and often times Jim would walk around, pause, and say quietly…”I don’t like it.” Many times, we had no idea exactly what he was seeing, all we knew was he was telling tradesman on the job to do it differently or to just do it over. These were not change orders either, this was Jim just doing it right! He would never accept compromise on quality execution.

Our experience with Cherry Luxury Homes was exceptional and a very gratifying experience. Most of all, we got the house of our dreams, and we absolutely love it! Even after being in our house now for nine years, it still puts a big smile on our faces!
